Lesson 4- HERE AND THERE
Neeta is a careless girl. She does not keep her things at their proper
places. Her mother is worried about her carelessness. One day,
Neeta’s friend Mala comes to her house.
Neeta : How are you Mala?
Mala : I am fine, thank you. What about you?
Neeta : I am also fine. Mala : I came here to take my storybook back which I had given to you
last week. (After searching everywhere…)
Neeta : I don’t remember where I have kept it. Probably it was here on
the table. No no, I think ita was there in the cupboard.
Mala : You should keep the things at their proper places. Should I help you?
Neeta : Yes, please.
(Mala and Neeta begin to keep the things at their proper places. While
they are arranging the things, Mala finds her storybook in the
cupboard. Meanwhile Neeta’s mother enters the room.) Neeta : Maa, see my room!
Mother : Oh good! Where is your blue bag?
Neeta : It is here on the table.
Mother : Where is your red frock?
Neeta : It is there in the cupboard.
Mother : Where are your black shoes?
Neeta : They are here in the shoerack.
Mother : Very good! Neeta, you should keep small things here on the table
and big things there in the cupboard.

नीता एक लापरवाह लड़की है। वह अपनी चीज़ें सही जगह पर नहीं रखती। उसकी माँ उसकी लापरवाही से चिंतित है।
एक दिन, नीता की सहेली माला उसके घर आती है।
नीता: माला, तुम कैसी हो?
माला: मैं ठीक हूँ, धन्यवाद। तुम कैसी हो?
नीता: मैं भी ठीक हूँ।
माला: मैं यहाँ अपनी कहानी की किताब लेने आई हूँ, जो मैंने तुम्हें पिछले हफ़्ते दी थी।
(हर जगह ढूँढने के बाद…)
नीता: मुझे याद नहीं कि मैंने इसे कहाँ रखा है। शायद यह यहाँ मेज़ पर थी। नहीं नहीं, मुझे लगता है यह अलमारी में थी।
माला: तुम्हें चीज़ों को सही जगह पर रखना चाहिए। क्या मैं तुम्हारी मदद करूँ?
नीता: हाँ, कृपया।
(माला और नीता चीज़ों को उनकी सही जगह पर रखना शुरू करती हैं। चीज़ें लगाते समय माला को उसकी कहानी की किताब अलमारी में मिलती है। इसी दौरान नीता की माँ कमरे में आती हैं।) नीता: माँ, देखो मेरा कमरा!
माँ: अच्छा है! तुम्हारा नीला बैग कहाँ है?
नीता: यह यहाँ मेज़ पर है।
माँ: तुम्हारी लाल फ़्रॉक कहाँ है?
नीता: वह वहाँ अलमारी में है।
माँ: तुम्हारे काले जूते कहाँ हैं?
नीता: वे यहाँ जूता-रैक में हैं।
माँ: बहुत अच्छा! नीता, तुम्हें छोटी चीज़ें यहाँ मेज़ पर और बड़ी चीज़ें वहाँ अलमारी में रखनी चाहिए।
