📝 Example 1: Newspaper Report on a Road Accident
Terrible Road Accident Near Bus Stand

Kanpur, 10 January 2026 –
A major road accident took place near the city bus stand yesterday evening. A speeding car collided with a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction. The bike rider fell on the road and suffered serious injuries.
According to eyewitnesses, the car driver was driving at a very high speed and lost control. The injured man was immediately taken to the nearby hospital by the local people. Police reached the spot on time and seized the car. The case is under investigation.
The accident caused a huge traffic jam for about 30 minutes. Police has requested the public to follow traffic rules strictly.

Annual Function Celebrated in Our School

Our school celebrated its Annual Function on 8 January 2026 in the school auditorium. The Chief Guest of the event was the District Magistrate. The programme began with the lighting of the lamp followed by the welcome song.
Students of different classes performed dances, skits, and cultural programs. The Chief Guest praised the students for their talent and hard work. Prizes were distributed to the winners of academic and sports competitions.
The function ended with the National Anthem. It was a memorable day for all the students and teachers.

Science Exhibition Organised at Our School

A science exhibition was organised in our school on 12 January 2026. Students from classes 6 to 12 participated enthusiastically. Various models and charts on topics like solar energy, water purification, robotics, and human anatomy were displayed.
The Principal and science teachers visited each stall and appreciated the students’ creativity. The best model award was given to Class 10 students for their “Automatic Irrigation System” model.
The exhibition helped students develop scientific thinking and team spirit. It was a highly successful event.

Cleanliness Drive Conducted in Our Locality

A cleanliness drive was organized by the NSS unit of our school on 10 January 2026 in the nearby locality. Around 50 volunteers participated in the campaign.
Students cleaned the streets, removed plastic waste, and put dustbins at different corners. People were made aware of the harmful effects of garbage and the importance of keeping the environment clean.
The Principal appreciated the efforts of the volunteers. The drive created awareness and motivated the public to maintain cleanliness.
