Lesson 11-SUNIL LEARNS A LESSON

It was Sunday. Sunil was having breakfast with his father. His father
gave him a banana. He ate it and threw the peel outside the window
on the road. An old man was walking there. He did not notice the
banana peel. He stepped on it and slipped. Sunil laughed at this. The
old man could not get up because he got injured. His father who was
watching all this, came to Sunil and said, “Don’t laugh.

The old man fell because you threw the banana peel on the road. You
should have put it in the dustbin . Now, Let’s go and help him”. They
helped the old man to get up and took him to his home. The old man
thanked them. Sunil felt ashamed for his wrong behaviour, and said
sorry to the old man. Later, Sunil said sorry and promised his father
that he would always throw waste in the dustbin.

यह रविवार था। सुनील अपने पिता के साथ नाश्ता कर रहा था। उसके पिता ने उसे एक केला दिया। उसने केला खा लिया और उसका छिलका खिड़की से बाहर सड़क पर फेंक दिया।

वहाँ एक बुजुर्ग व्यक्ति चल रहे थे। उन्होंने केले का छिलका नहीं देखा। वे उस पर पैर रख बैठे और फिसलकर गिर पड़े। सुनील यह देखकर हँस पड़ा।

बुजुर्ग व्यक्ति उठ नहीं पाए क्योंकि उन्हें चोट लग गई थी। सुनील के पिता जो यह सब देख रहे थे, सुनील के पास आए और बोले,
“हँसो मत।
यह बुजुर्ग व्यक्ति इसलिए गिरे क्योंकि तुमने केला छिलका सड़क पर फेंका था। तुम्हें उसे कूड़ेदान में डालना चाहिए था। अब चलो और उनकी मदद करो।”

वे दोनों बुजुर्ग व्यक्ति को उठाने में मदद करते हैं और उन्हें उनके घर तक पहुँचाते हैं।
बुजुर्ग व्यक्ति ने उन्हें धन्यवाद कहा।

सुनील को अपने गलत व्यवहार पर शर्म आई और उसने बुजुर्ग व्यक्ति से माफ़ी मांगी। बाद में, सुनील ने अपने पिता से माफ़ी मांगी और वादा किया कि वह आगे से हमेशा कूड़ा कूड़ेदान में ही डालेगा।
