LESSON 19: Group Discussion Speaking

🌱 Welcome Message

Group Discussion (GD) me sabse zyada problem hoti hai:

  • “Bolne ka chance nahi milta”

  • “English me kya bolun?”

  • “Log judge karenge”

  • “Main topic samajh nahi paata”

GD actually fight nahi,
smart communication hota hai.

Aaj ka lesson aapko GD ka
Hero banayega, Zero nahi 😉

🎯 Lesson Goal

Is lesson ka main aim:

✅ GD me confident English bolna
✅ Topic start karna & end karna
✅ Smart points banana
✅ Interrupt ke bina politely bolna
✅ Group me apni image strong banana

🧠 PART 1: GD Ka Simple Rule

GD me English perfect nahi chahiye.
GD me clarity, confidence, calmness chahiye.

Bas.

✋ PART 2: GD Start Karne Ki English (Opening Lines)

Agar aap GD start kar dete ho,
aapka impression 10x strong ho jata hai.

Powerful opening lines:

  • “Let me start the discussion.”

  • “According to me, this is an important topic…”

  • “In my opinion…”

  • “I would like to begin by saying…”

  • “The topic is very relevant today because…”

Bas itna bolte hi sab sunne lagte hain.

🗣️ PART 3: Opinion Dene Ki English

GD me aapko “apni baat” smartly rakhni hoti hai.

Use these:

  • “I strongly believe that…”

  • “From my point of view…”

  • “I think we should consider…”

  • “One more important point is…”

  • “I partially agree with you…”

  • “I have a different opinion…”

Ye lines aapko intelligent dikhayengi.

🤝 PART 4: Group Me Respectful Rehna (Very Important)

GD debate nahi hota,
discussion hota hai.

Aapko polite sunna bhi hai,
polite bolna bhi.

Use these:

  • “I respect your point, but…”

  • “You made a good point.”

  • “I completely agree with you.”

  • “I want to add something to your point.”

  • “That’s a valid thought.”

Respect = Maximum marks.

🧩 PART 5: How to Add Points (Smart Way)

Agar points nahi mil rahe,
toh ye tricks use karo:

1️⃣ Definition trick

Topic ko define karke start karo.

Example:
“Pollution means harmful changes in the environment.”

2️⃣ Example trick

Example dekar point strong karo.

“Like in Delhi, pollution increases in winter.”

3️⃣ Problem–Solution trick

Pehle problem batao, fir solution.

🛑 PART 6: Agar Aapko Interrupt Kiya Jaye

GD me log beech me bol dete hain.
Aap polite English me control lo:

  • “Let me complete my point.”

  • “Just a moment, please.”

  • “I will finish in 10 seconds.”

  • “I will speak after you.”

Confidence + respect = GD winner.

🪞 PART 7: GD Ending Lines (Conclusion Expert)

GD end karna sabse strong move hota hai.

Use these lines:

  • “To conclude, I would like to say…”

  • “In summary, we all agree that…”

  • “Finally, the best solution seems to be…”

  • “The discussion shows that…”

Conclusion dene se
aapka impression HIGH level ka hota hai.

🎭 PART 8: Real GD Example

Topic: Social Media – Good or Bad?

You Start:
“Let me start the discussion.
In my opinion, social media is useful but harmful if misused.”

Another person:
“I think it’s mostly harmful.”

You:
“I respect your point.
But we should consider that it helps education and business too.”

Add a point:
“One more important point is that people can learn new skills easily.”

End:
“To conclude, social media is good when used wisely.”

You become the highlight of the group.

🔁 PART 9: Daily Practice Drill

Roz 5 minutes:

  1. Ek topic choose karo

  2. Mirror ke saamne GD start karo

  3. 3 points English me bolo

  4. Ek conclusion do

  5. Voice record karo

Daily 5 minute → GD master 🔥

📝 PART 10: Task of the Day

Aaj ka kaam:

✔ Topic choose karo:
“Is mobile addiction harming students?”

✔ 5 lines English me bolo:
Start → Opinion → Example → Solution → Conclusion

💬 Dil Se Baat

GD me jeet “English” se nahi hoti…
GD me jeet confidence + calmness + clarity se hoti hai.

Aap kaam karne ko tayyar ho →
Aap GD winner ho.
