Teacher-Stop fighting. You should not waste your energy in fighting. Use it in a right way. If you are not able to keep peace in your classroom, how can you keep peace in the world.
शिक्षक- लड़ाई बंद करो। तुम्हें अपनी ऊर्जा लड़ाई में बर्बाद नहीं करनी चाहिए। इसे सही तरीके से इस्तेमाल करो। अगर तुम अपनी कक्षा में शांति नहीं रख सकते, तो दुनिया में शांति कैसे रखोगे।

अमन- मैडम, दुनिया में शांति का क्या मतलब है?

Teacher-Before knowing what does ‘peace in the world’ mean, can you tell me the meaning of ‘world’?
शिक्षक- ‘दुनिया में शांति’ का मतलब जानने से पहले, क्या आप मुझे ‘दुनिया’ का अर्थ बता सकते हो?

Aman-Yes madam, ‘world’ means Duniya or Sansar.
अमन- हाँ मैडम, ‘world’ का मतलब है दुनिया या संसार।

Teacher-Good, now tell me what is ‘peace’?
शिक्षक- अच्छा, अब बताओ ‘peace’ क्या है?

Shanti-Madam, ‘peace’ means ‘Shanti’.
शांति- मैडम, ‘peace’ का मतलब है ‘शांति’।

Teacher-Good, If you want to make peace, begin it from your home. Don’t fight at home. Don’t quarrel with your friends, neighbours or anyone around you.
शिक्षक- अच्छा, अगर आप शांति बनाना चाहते हो, तो अपने घर से शुरू करो। घर में मत लड़ो। अपने दोस्तों, पड़ोसियों या आस-पास के किसी से झगड़ा मत करो।

Teacher-Then stop quarrelling and try to keep peace in your surrounding.
शिक्षक- फिर झगड़ा बंद करो और अपने आस-पास शांति बनाए रखने की कोशिश करो।

अमन और शांति- ठीक है मैडम, हम समाज में शांति बनाए रखने की कोशिश करेंगे।

Teacher-You got both the words ‘world’ and ‘peace’. Now I combine these words and define it to you. ‘World Peace’ means happiness, freedom and peace among people. ‘World Peace’ means ‘to bring the world in harmony.’
शिक्षक- तुमने दोनों शब्द ‘world’ और ‘peace’ सीख लिए हैं। अब मैं इन शब्दों को मिलाकर तुम्हें बताता हूँ। ‘World Peace’ का मतलब है लोगों के बीच खुशी, स्वतंत्रता और शांति। ‘World Peace’ का मतलब है ‘दुनिया में सामंजस्य लाना’।

Aman-Madam, what is ‘harmony’?
अमन- मैडम, ‘harmony’ क्या है?

Teacher-The word ‘harmony’ means ‘co-operation, balance and coordination’. There are many factors which disturb this harmony.
शिक्षक- ‘harmony’ का मतलब है ‘सहयोग, संतुलन और समन्वय’। कई कारण हैं जो इस सामंजस्य को बाधित करते हैं।

Aman-Madam, please tell us about those factors.
अमन- मैडम, कृपया उन कारणों के बारे में बताएं।

Teacher-Okay, let me tell you about those factors. ‘World Peace’ is disturbed by two main factors. The first one is war and terrorism. War and terrorism are acts of violence which affect our generation emotionally and psychologically. The other reason which disturbs ‘World Peace’ is fighting on the basis of caste, creed, colour and religion. So by eliminating these factors and by respecting humanity we can make this world a better place to live in.
शिक्षक- ठीक है, मैं तुम्हें उन कारणों के बारे में बताता हूँ। ‘World Peace’ को दो मुख्य कारण प्रभावित करते हैं। पहला कारण है युद्ध और आतंकवाद। युद्ध और आतंकवाद हिंसा के कृत्य हैं जो हमारी पीढ़ी को भावनात्मक और मानसिक रूप से प्रभावित करते हैं। दूसरा कारण जो ‘World Peace’ को बाधित करता है, वह जाति, धर्म, रंग और विश्वास के आधार पर लड़ाई है। इन कारणों को खत्म करके और मानवता का सम्मान करके हम इस दुनिया को रहने के लिए बेहतर स्थान बना सकते हैं।

Teacher-Now I am going to tell you the way by which you can make peace in the world. Have you ever heard the term ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’?
शिक्षक- अब मैं तुम्हें वह तरीका बताने जा रहा हूँ जिससे तुम दुनिया में शांति ला सकते हो। क्या तुमने कभी ‘वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम’ शब्द सुना है?

Aman and Shanti – No madam. We don’t have any idea about it.
अमन और शांति- नहीं मैडम। हमें इसके बारे में कोई जानकारी नहीं है।

Teacher-Okay let me tell you. ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ is a Sanskrit phrase which is made of three words: Vasudha, Eiva, and Kutumbakam which means that the earth or the world is a family. So we should consider the whole world as a family.
