What does little birdie say,
In her nest at peep of day,
Let me fly, says little birdie,
Mother, let me fly away.

हिंदी अनुवाद

सुबह-सुबह अपने घोंसले में छोटी चिड़िया अपनी माँ से कहती है—

“माँ, मुझे उड़ने दो। मुझे आकाश में उड़ जाने दो।”

Birdie, rest a little longer,
Till the little wings are stronger,
So she rests a little longer,
Then she flies away.

हिंदी अनुवाद

माँ चिड़िया प्यार से कहती है—

“अभी थोड़ी देर और आराम करो, जब तक तुम्हारे छोटे-छोटे पंख मजबूत नहीं हो जाते।”

छोटी चिड़िया कुछ समय और आराम करती है। जब उसके पंख मजबूत हो जाते हैं, तब वह उड़ जाती है।

“अभी थोड़ी देर और सो जाओ, जब तक तुम्हारे हाथ-पैर मजबूत नहीं हो जाते।”

यदि बच्ची थोड़ी देर और आराम करेगी, तो वह भी बड़ी होकर अपने जीवन में आगे बढ़ेगी और सफल होगी।
