Rubina lived with her parents in a village.
रुबिना अपने माता-पिता के साथ एक गाँव में रहती थी।

Her father worked in a factory.
उसके पिता एक फैक्ट्री में काम करते थे।

She was studying in class 6.
वह छठी कक्षा में पढ़ रही थी।

She always stood first in the class.
वह हमेशा कक्षा में प्रथम आती थी।

One day when her father returned home, he was feeling weak.
एक दिन जब उसके पिता घर लौटे, तो वे कमजोरी महसूस कर रहे थे।

He told his wife, “I am suffering from some serious disease, and the treatment of this disease is very expensive”.
उन्होंने अपनी पत्नी से कहा, “मुझे एक गंभीर बीमारी है, और इसका इलाज बहुत महंगा है।”

On hearing this Rubina’s mother became very sad.
यह सुनकर रुबिना की माँ बहुत दुखी हो गईं।

Her father needed rest, so her mother started working in the factory in his place.
उसके पिता को आराम की ज़रूरत थी, इसलिए उसकी माँ ने उनकी जगह फैक्ट्री में काम करना शुरू कर दिया।

Rubina stopped going to school as most of the time she had to stay at home to take care of her father.
रुबिना ने स्कूल जाना बंद कर दिया क्योंकि उसे ज्यादातर समय घर पर रहकर अपने पिता की देखभाल करनी पड़ती थी।

She was worried about her studies.
वह अपनी पढ़ाई को लेकर चिंतित थी।

One day on their way to the factory, Rubina and her mother met her teacher.
एक दिन फैक्ट्री जाते समय रुबिना और उसकी माँ की मुलाकात उसकी शिक्षिका से हुई।

The teacher asked the reason for her absence from school.
शिक्षिका ने स्कूल से उसकी गैरहाज़िरी का कारण पूछा।

Rubina said, “I am not going to school because my father is very sick and unable to work”.
रुबिना ने कहा, “मैं स्कूल नहीं जा रही हूँ क्योंकि मेरे पिताजी बहुत बीमार हैं और काम नहीं कर सकते।”

Her mother had started working in the mill to support the family and she had to stay at home to do the household work.
उसकी माँ ने परिवार का खर्च चलाने के लिए मिल में काम करना शुरू कर दिया था और उसे घर के काम करने के लिए घर पर रहना पड़ता था।

The teacher said to her mother, “Your family must have been enrolled in ‘Rashtriya Swasthya Beema Yojna’.
शिक्षिका ने उसकी माँ से कहा, “आपका परिवार ‘राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य बीमा योजना’ में ज़रूर पंजीकृत होगा।”

If so, your husband could be treated under this scheme without spending money”.
“अगर ऐसा है, तो आपके पति का इलाज इस योजना के तहत बिना पैसे खर्च किए हो सकता है।”

The teacher also suggested that Rubina should join the girls’ boarding school.
शिक्षिका ने यह भी सुझाव दिया कि रुबिना को लड़कियों के बोर्डिंग स्कूल में दाखिला लेना चाहिए।

In the boarding school she would get free education, food and hostel facility.
बोर्डिंग स्कूल में उसे मुफ्त शिक्षा, भोजन और हॉस्टल की सुविधा मिलेगी।

Rubina’s mother followed the teacher’s advice due to which her husband got good and free treatment and soon recovered.
रुबिना की माँ ने शिक्षिका की सलाह मानी, जिससे उसके पति का अच्छा और मुफ्त इलाज हुआ और वे जल्द ही ठीक हो गए।

In the boarding school, Rubina could complete her education without any hurdle.
बोर्डिंग स्कूल में रुबिना ने बिना किसी बाधा के अपनी पढ़ाई पूरी की।

Rubina also excelled in her studies.
रुबिना ने अपनी पढ़ाई में भी उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन किया।

She got admission in a reputed medical college.
उसे एक प्रतिष्ठित मेडिकल कॉलेज में प्रवेश मिला।

She also got a scholarship to pursue her studies.
उसे अपनी पढ़ाई जारी रखने के लिए छात्रवृत्ति भी मिली।

After becoming a doctor she joined a local Primary Health Centre.
डॉक्टर बनने के बाद उसने एक स्थानीय प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र में काम शुरू किया।

Later on, she opened a school for the factory worker’s children.
बाद में उसने फैक्ट्री मजदूरों के बच्चों के लिए एक स्कूल खोला।

One day, Rubina along with her parents visited her teacher.
एक दिन रुबिना अपने माता-पिता के साथ अपनी शिक्षिका से मिलने गई।

They expressed their gratitude to the teacher.
उन्होंने शिक्षिका के प्रति अपना आभार व्यक्त किया।

Rubina’s parents felt proud of their daughter.
रुबिना के माता-पिता को अपनी बेटी पर गर्व हुआ।
