1. Rachel’s uncle and aunt lived in Mysore.

6. As they entered the garden, Rachel exclaimed, “Wow, what beautiful flowers and fountains are these! I must make a bouquet for myself.”

7. The moment she tried to pluck one of the flowers, her aunt stopped her and said, “Don’t do that, we should not pluck flowers.”

8. After taking a round of the whole garden they sat down to have snacks.

11. Her aunt politely asked her, “Do you throw the wastes under your study table or sofa at home too?

12. Rachel, it is our duty to keep our surroundings, public places like roads, parks, schools, hospitals, etc. clean.

13. We should treat the whole country just like our home.”
“हमें पूरे देश को अपने घर की तरह मानना चाहिए।”

14. Rachel quickly understood and collected the wastes and threw them in a dustbin.
रेचल ने तुरंत समझा और कचरा इकट्ठा करके उसे कूड़ेदान में डाल दिया।

15. After having the snacks they moved towards the musical fountains, where they enjoyed the light and sound show.
नाश्ता करने के बाद वे म्यूज़िकल फाउंटेन की ओर बढ़े, जहाँ उन्होंने लाइट और साउंड शो का आनंद लिया।

16. When they moved out they saw, an old man tripped and fell down.
जब वे बाहर निकले, तो उन्होंने देखा कि एक बूढ़ा आदमी ठोकर खाकर गिर गया।

17. Her aunt ran and helped the old man, while the others were still thinking what could be done.
उसकी चाची दौड़कर उस बूढ़े आदमी की मदद करने लगीं, जबकि बाकी लोग अब भी सोच रहे थे कि क्या किया जाए।

18. The old man thanked her for her act of kindness.

19. On her way back, Rachel asked her aunt, “Did you know the old man, whom you helped?”

20. Her aunt replied, “No Rachel, I did not, but I helped him because he was in trouble.

21. We must always help people who are in trouble.
“हमें हमेशा मुसीबत में पड़े लोगों की मदद करनी चाहिए।”

22. We should take care of the people around us, just like we take care of the members of our family.
“हमें अपने आस-पास के लोगों की वैसे ही देखभाल करनी चाहिए, जैसे हम अपने परिवार के सदस्यों की करते हैं।”

23. In this way we can become good and responsible citizens.”
